SVAA rebrand

The Specialty Vehicle Association of Alberta (SVAA) produces a quarterly publication for their member clubs. After a number of years of newsletter-type publications, they approached me about bringing up the level of their magazine. They wanted the publication to have a more polished, professional look as well as finding a way to make the creation of future issues faster and more organized. A new masthead, template, and styleguide were created along with a new advertising specification sheet. The online version was upgraded with functioning hyperlinks to external sites, internal links, as well as email links. To go along with the redesign of Alberta Rides, a redesign of the SVAA logo was also pitched. Several designs were presented and a new design was chosen. The design hinted at a vintage stylization and also utilized an abstracted shape of the province to reinforce the main qualities of the Association.
